Places I love have suffered terrible disasters. The earthquake in Haiti where I worked for Aid to Artisans, last year’s Hurricane Irene caused destruction for my family in VT, and now Superstorm Sandy – for me the damage in NY and NJ hits home the most. I’ve loved going to NYC since I was young. 2 years ago I researched Wildwood, NJ for my Places I Have Never Been travel poster series and fell in love with the boardwalk, amusement park, the trolley…
I feel helpless as to how I can help during these times. These special edition map prints for New Jersey and New York feature a map silhouette filled with the state’s PIHNB pattern, the state name and the state motto. The Map Prints are 8″ x 10″ and are $25 each and we will donate the net proceeds to the Red Cross.
